NihloreRupture. Therro’s entire body convulsed as the stretcher bearers wrestled to keep him from tipping onto the ever-growing mound of dead. They waded through the disarray with grim persistence. If they failed then they would be joining the unfortunate soldiers who lay contorted and not quite at peace. “Let me fight! Return me to battle! Now!” bellowed Therro, before his head whipped back in pain. The stretcher bearers faltered. Every soldier on the platoon feared the jugernaught, and of course, every enemy too.
